Can't login to Wells Fargo

Description of the issue:
Login to Wells Fargo fails. Error message after entering username and password: “That combination doesn’t match our records.” User name and password known to be correct. Can login with Firefox and Chromium.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Sign in to wellsfargo.com with username and password.

Expected result:
After entering username and password, a two factor authentication screen is presented, asking where to send the six-digit code, text or voice, and phone number.

Version 1.51.118 Chromium: 113.0.5672.126 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Linux Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS with latest updates installed.

Can you try in a private window or create a new profile (Click on hamburger menu near URL bar → Create new profile) ?
If that works, disable extensions or completely remove them and check. Also delete cookies.
