Can't import settings to Brave from another browser

Description of the issue:
Every time i try to import saved passwords from google chrome to brave it crashes without any error messages with to results

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Open “Import bookmarks and settings”
  2. Choose Google Chrome
  3. Check “Saved passwords” box
  4. Press “Import”

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Browser crash

Expected result:
Passwords should be imported into Brave browser

Reproduces how often:
10/10

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
OS: win10
Brave v1.59.122

Same issue but I’m trying to import from Edge browser, and I’m on Win 11 (22H2)

Browser simply closes after trying to import bookmarks and saved passwords.
