Description of the issue:
Simply won’t download files.

hyperlinks simply do nothing.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Nothing happens

File downloads

Very often
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Brave is up to date on a Windows 10 machine 1.28.106
Additional Information:
I usually just copy the hyperlink and download it in edge. I do have a valid download location set and have the box checked to ask me where to download each time. Maybe it’s treating it as a popup or some other security setting is blocking it.

Can you please share the site/sites that you are attempting to download files from so that I can test on my end?
I uninstalled and reinstalled brave, rebooted and it seems better. I’ll update if anything changes.
