Description of the issue:
Whenever I try to download anything from certain websites, Brave won’t even give me the prompt for downloading and the download never goes through. If I spam the download button enough times, Brave asks if I want to allow a website to download multiple files, acknowledging it’s supposed to be downloading something. If I say Allow, it still doesn’t download. Other browsers will download the files just fine.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Go to any website/URL that will allow you to download something, preferably the site is smaller and not owned by some humongous company.
- Download a file from said website.

Expected result:
I can download ePSXe on Brave and not have to use a different browser.
Reproduces how often:
It’s happened for about a week straight now.

Additional Information:
I have cleared out all data through the clear browsing data tab in the settings and still experience this issue.
