Can't Change Homepage On Android

Description of the issue: Can’t turn off or change the Homepage

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select “Homepage”
  3. Turn off or change to URL

Expected result: Nothing changes, stuck with “Brave’s homepage”. Even after force-close and reboot.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.12.113

When you said this, did you mean everytime you open a new tab?

Homepage setting is for home button. Not New Tab Page.

I just want the “Stats” page and “Most visited pages” gone.

I don’t want every single page I visit displayed for all the see.

So in other words, you can’t change the appearance of new tab page.

This is all I want; a clean start up or home page or one that goes to a URL of my choice.

I don’t have a Home button because I don’t have my toolbar at the bottom.
