No more homepage!?

Description of the issue:
Latest version of mobile updates overnight and no more homepage. Talk of widgets? No widgets! How do you get these widgets get the tab buttons to show?!

Yes I have show Brave homepage set.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch and no homepage
  2. Set 'show brave village’s in settings and no homepage

*Expected result:
A homepage with wwwpage butons

A way to access widget settings … There is no way I can find!!!

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.17.72 87.0.4280.66

Mobile Device details
Kindle fire 8

Community please help. Only a blank tab shows with no background image and no tab buttons.

I can’t figure out how to get the homepage to work either. I have it enabled but it doesn’t do anything…

Same problem!
At first I thought it was a bug in my new phone.
But hours after searching the internet, i see i’m not the only one.

Homepage is enabled and everytime i launch the app, it starts with the page i last visited.
I would not care if it would be just a blank white page, but for god sakes not the last visited page.
