Cannot download extensions “Failed - Server problem” Linux

Description of the issue: I’m current running Brave Version 1.14.84 Chromium: 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on PopOS 20.04 and I’m having the same issue some extensions download and some don’t server failed I already check my host file and nothing that contains Google is there.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Chrome web store
  2. Selection an extension IE PIP from Google
  3. Try to download that extension

Expected result: Server Failed

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.14.84 Chromium: 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit)

could you try to disable all extension then try again

I don’t have any installed extension unless your talking about the ones that came with the brave. I did disable the shield on the chrome web store still no change.

according to this page you can try reinstall brave but check the other option also

This is just an issue with Chrome Webstore. Please try after waiting for a while. There have been reports like this in the past and have worked on its own. This is nothing to do with the browser.
