Amazing! I’ve also noticed a few other missing translations for Italian across all clients (Win/ macOS as well). Shall i create different topics in every section with separate reports?
Hi @Ayntrl, I’m an Android user. I’m having a problem with translations for Android, Windows, and Linux, and the translation is extremely terrible. When I try to translate from English to Spanish or from a detected language to Spanish, it returns to the original page, meaning English. So it’s frustrating. Will there be further improvements for translations across all platforms?
@Chocolate - I think you are talking about the Brave Translate feature correct? Not the UI translations. If this is Brave Translate, please create a separate issue to discuss that. Then if you can, please provide screenshots so the team can look into it
Yes, correct. The translation suddenly goes crazy, like it’s not translated very well. And when I translate from English to Spanish or click on the detected language to Spanish, it returns me to the original page in English. And I have to keep clicking from English to Spanish, and it’s very annoying. I don’t know if there are more improvements to fix it or increase the speed of the translation. Why is it too slow? because it is too slow or translation
Excuse me. There are many pages that are reverted to their original state, meaning the English page, but I’ll take some screenshots so you can take a look and find a solution.
Hello there. The new update is out and the issue reported in this topic is fixed. Unfortunately I found another small one.
The option “keep private tabs”, used to keep private tabs when you restart Brave has been mistakenly translated to “ mantieni private le schede” > “keep the tabs private”.
The current translation is unrelated to the actual function of the feature
I would recommend either “Mantieni le schede private” or “Mantieni attive le schede private”
