BUG: Black screen when I open gif on Twitter

Good Morning;

Brave gives me a black screen problem when I open gif on Twitter. It is as if it saturated the ram memory or some problem of graphic drivers.

To say that this problem only happens to me with Brave. With Chrome, Edge, Firefox or other browsers I don’t have this problem.

The problem has been giving for several versions. Let’s see if you can look at it and find a solution.

I leave you information about version of Brave, Operating System, Intel HD630 Graphics Drivers:

  • Brave: Versión 1.2.43 Chromium: 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)

  • Windows 10 Home 64 Bits. 1009 (18363.592)

  • Intel i3 7100, 8gb DDR4, SSD.

  • Graphics Driver: Intel HD 630 (26.20.100.7463)

Thanks.

Hey @Ensaladilla Can you disable Hardware acceleration in the Brave options and re-test?

I have tried to disable hardware acceleration and it no longer gives the problem.

The surprising thing is that I have activated it again, I have restarted the browser and now it does not. I have also restarted the computer and it does not give the problem.

It’s curious. Maybe the browser has been bugged and until I have deactivated and activated it has not been corrected.

Anyway I will test it because it was a fault that had been taking place in this team for some time.

I give it for the moment solved. Thanks for your time.

Greetings.

Some graphic chipsets are more problematic than others, not sure if its driver issue, or a chrome issue. But turning off the acceleration fixes a few gfx issues
