Browser still stealing BAT!

When I set up Brave, I toggled auto-contribute off. I then discover it’s been set back to on and has sent 1 BAT to Brave without my knowledge or agreement.
I’ve switched it back off again so hopefully this won’t be a reoccurring issue (although I’ve seen others have reported it previously with no obvious solution)
How do I get my BAT back, and how do you contact an actual person to lodge a complaint?

Thanks for reporting. I’d like to ask a few questions to start:

  • Auto Contribute is ON by default and must be manually turned OFF. Did you turn it OFF?
  • Do you have multiple devices linked to your Uphold? If so, is Auto Contribute turned OFF on each of these devices?
  • Can you share a screenshot of your Contributions and Event Log tabs which can be found here brave://rewards-internals/
