BAT being "auto-contributed" even with the option turned off

I have been using Brave rewards for a year now. I have also turned the “auto-contribute” function off. I have recently linked the browser rewards to my uphold account only to find that the BAT is being sent away even with auto-contribute off on all my linked browsers. I would like my funds back please

  1. Funds being sent without consent
  2. Function turned of seems to activate anyway
  3. I would like a refund if possible
