Somehow Auto-Contribute became enabled on its own. I did not enable it. 20 BAT was donated and I did not initiate the donation. I was notified of the donation today when I connected to a Zoom.us call (coincidence I suppose). I sent an email to refunds@brave.com but I was informed that email is no longer in use.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Use Brave browser.
- Auto-Contribute enables itself unknown to the user.
- BAT gets donated without your consent.
Auto-Contribute should stay disabled when disabled.
