Browser getting slower and SLOWER

I had high hopes, the browser started off very fast, but lately it has gotten slower and slower. Any page with any sort of scripting I could grow old waiting for when I am able to click a button or enter in a field. Chrome on the same page is fine, with the same addons. Even turning off the shield doesn’t help. About ready to ditch this experiment

How can this issue be reproduced?

Expected result: not slow as molasses
