Brave gets slower over time

The browser was fast at the beginning, but got slower over time. Especially the initial opening of the browser takes ~5 seconds. I actually have this issue with Chrome too, it also gets slow over time.
I’m guessing reinstallation would fix, but can’t find the “export bookmarks” option anywhere so that I won’t lose my bookmarks.

To speed the browser up, you may consider getting rid of or disabling some of your currently installed extensions. In fact, it may only turn out to be me one of them causing the slowdown.
Clearing site/cache data would help as well.

But if you want to uninstall, follow these instructions to export your bookmarks beforehand.
