Browser cycling through open tabs at random

Description of the issue: I have 6 tabs open in one browser window. When I click on one, it then starts shuffling through each browser window at random and stops on one, then starts shuffling through them again.

How can this issue be reproduced?

I don’t know how to reproduce it because I don’t know what’s wrong with it. Trying to get in touch with tech support to help resolve issue.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Lagainz,

Thanks for writing in! That is some strange behavior, and not something I’ve seen before.

Would you be willing to provide a short recording of this behavior next time it occurs? I’d like to pass this along to the team.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, @Lagainz. Would you happen to have a touch screen on your machine? I had some very strange behavior from mine when it started to delaminate - all kinds of spurious “clicks.” Of course, it wasn’t limited to any particular program, so if you’re not seeing this in anything other than Brave, never mind.

@steeven @hnktong Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it.

I figured it out when I opened up a chrome browser after awhile. Same thing was happening on chrome as well. Not sure how but my mouse settings had gotten changed so when I hovered over tabs, it would start cycling through all open tabs and auto scrolling on pages. Reset settings, did a bunch of stuff, went in mouse settings and switched them back, they wouldn’t save the settings. Finally unplugged the usb for my wireless mouse, put it back in and it worked. lol

@Lagainz,
Great news! I was worried about this one – glad you solved the case yourself :slight_smile:
