Brave keeps switching tabs

Description of the issue:
Clicking on any tab except the right most tab will cycle through them all and end up on the right most tab.
Deleted Cache and History
Updated system
Disabled Extensions
Browser behaves the same even after the above troubleshooting.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Launch Brave
  2. Open several tabs
  3. Click on any tab except the right most tab

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Clicking on a tab cycles through them until the right most tab.

Expected Result:
Clicking on a tab should stay on that tab.

Reproduces how often:
Always

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Brave release - v1.40.113

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes

Additional information:
Manjaro fully updated and Brave from Community repo.

Tested Firefox on the same system (tab switching is the same shortcut) and it does not produce the error. I also tried Brave on Windows and Remoted in and it is not reproducible.

I unplugged my wireless mouse dongle and plugged it back in and it seems to have fixed the issue (I was docked with a wired mouse at the time).
