Brave won't launch on WIndows 11

  1. I opened Ableton Live 11(MIDI editing software).
  2. Brave Browser suddenly crashed with no crash report.
  3. Brave Browser never opened again.

Brave Version:
Latest version as of December 17, 2021

Additional information
Vivaldi also stopped working, but Chrome and Edge and Opera is working fine.

I tried these solution:

  • Reinstall Brave.
  • Deleted “(user dir)\AppData\Local\BraveSoftWare” folder
  • Checked Windows Defender settings (I’m not using 3rd party security software)

Thanks for reporting. A few direct follow up questions:

  • Can you tell me more about what you have enabled in the browser: Rewards, Sync, Wallet? - Any new extensions?
  • Did you enable any flags via brave://flags by any chance?
  • Can you check to see if there are any crashes reported using the following:

C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Crashpad

No I didn’t enable any flags.

I had no crash report.
