is there anyway to adjust the transaction fee in brave wallet, trying for a few hours now to get a transaction to go through but it drops every time and can see no way to raise the transaction fee, the help guide just says the wallet auto selects a fee that will work but it doesn’t
The wallet seems completely unusable

Some posts by Brave team leader @onyb who has an interest in wallet performance:
RPC looks good.
Let’s now look at the wallet panel’s logs. First make sure that the wallet is unlocked and the transaction has been created in the panel.
Then visit brave://wallet-panel.top-chrome and open the developer console (Opt + Cmd + J) to see if there’s anything notable in the logs.
Just tried to do a USDC transfer on Gnosis, and this is what I see.

Looks like Gnosis gas fees are not being fetched for you (see my highlights and compare with yours).
Edit: Looks like we’re unable to fetch pricing information, which is why you cannot approve the transaction.
Can you please check the RPC URL you’re using for Gnosis chain? You can find this by navigating to Settings > Web3 > Wallet Networks.
Sorry for the late reply. Yes - the gas token (ETH in your case) balance needs to be on the specific network on which you’re transacting.
You can read the text on the button as “Insufficient ETH balance on Optimism”. Maybe we’ll update the text to indicate this.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

@Bbbcccfffttt it’s generally helpful for you to provide a lot more details. For example:
Are you trying this from PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, etc? And which specific OS?
What version of Brave is being used?
What blockchain/network are you using?
Have you clicked to edit?
So when asking if you click to edit, let’s look below:
Notice how it shows Network fees
and shows a number? then there’s an Edit
button to the right of it. It then lets me put in my own info. It’s doing this for both Solana and Ethereum.
