Brave’s translator is not working properly. When I click on “translate this page to” it takes a long time to display the translated page and after a few seconds it returns to the original language. The translation I use most is English → Italian. Nothing like the readiness and native function of Google. Since it is an essential work tool I kindly ask for action to improve the translation service.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Could you kindly use guest mode to see if the issue persist?
You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu → Open Guest window
If that works try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.
Menu → More tools → Extensions.Remove.Remove.At last and if you continue with the issue please try to install the Beta or Nightly version of Brave to see if the issue persist.

I am a new user
tempted by the promises of privacy, I eagerly started using brave.
But how the page is translated is a misunderstanding.
Accustomed to chrome translate, I came across a situation where brave becomes useless, the translation takes a long time, it doesn’t translate easily, after a while it disappears … well, unacceptable.
I added autotranslate to the shortcut, it started working. but it is incomparable to the quality of chrome… i don’t understand why, even when i installed google translate, there is no automatic translation option…
I really, really want to use brave, but the job has become very frustrating.

Can I somehow enable the same translation engine as in chrome?
I tried to do that but it changed little. It literally takes minutes to translate the entire page, which turns out to be very nerve-wracking. It must be said that in guest mode the translation does not seem to disappear, but the quality of google translate is much better in speed and stability, so I will continue to use that service via the add-on.
Can I enable the standard translator from chrome? in the brave browser? I would like it to be the same as in the chrome browser.
I agree, the integrated Google Chrome translate should be included in Brave. The one that is currently included in Brave is sub-optimal. It rarely detects the language on the page and takes forever to actually translate anything if it does.
