Brave Sync not working?

I have been configuring my Brave settings and they will not sync to my other devices. Nothing else syncs either…passwords, history, etc. I have a sync chain and all of the settings are turned on. Is sync meant to be instantaneous?

Could you go to brave://sync-internals and click on request start ?

I did and nothing happened. I realize that the browser that I was changing the settings on is on windows 7, and therefore, is not updated to the latest version of Brave like my other devices are. Would this affect anything?

Yes. Not having browser updates can result in issues. Especially if the other browser is using a more recent version.
