Brave sync not working for History

Description of the issue:
I followed the instructions on syncing my PC and Mobile device; I can see both listed on each device. I enabled syncing of Bookmarks and History but only Bookmarks are sync’d. It’s not clear in the browser or instructions when the sync is supposed to happen nor how to recognize the last time it happened.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  • On the PC or mobile device, search for something
  • Go to the other device (after a minute) and search History

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

  • The search on the other device isn’t listed.

Expected result:

  • The search on the other device is listed.

Reproduces how often:

  • Always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

  • Windows 10 and Brave 1.18.63
  • Android and Brave 1,17.72
