Brave still doesn’t support smooth video playback on sites like YT and X with AMD GPUs (Freesync). When watching the video, or going full screen, the display is stuck for a good 3-4 seconds before turning normal.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open YT
- Play 1440p 60fps or Higher
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.65.114
Additional Information: I saw posts made on this issue in Jan 2023 and in Dec 2023 with the only fix being disabling Free sync using AMD adrenaline, this fix makes switching between game and the browser problematic. I love brave browser so much, I can’t move to any other browser, someone please fix this. I have waited years for a fix. I’m begging the devs.
