Brave Search Browser returning results for half a second, before going blank

Description of the issue:
Whenever I search for something in the brave search bar, using the brave engine, the page opens up for about half a second before going blank, and this happens with everything I look up using brave search engine, and it doesn’t seem like the url is going through? Google.com via Brave browser works fine.
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Type in search query in browser bar
2. Hit enter
3. Repeat ad infinitum

Expected result:

To actually see a result on the brave search browser.

I’ve also been experiencing this issue, seems to have came up this week. Private tabs and guest profiles work fine.

To me this very much looks like an extension issue. @csfarrell99 Can you please try launching a Guest profile (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile), close your original profile window and perform a search there and see if you get the same results?

@Leafboi can you please try disabling your extensions and testing again to see if it is one of the installed extensions causing the issue?

For me, it wasn’t AdGuard that was the problem, it was Indie Wiki Buddy. Let’s hope they update soon.

Same here. Once I removed it everything worked.
