Brave Preferences -> Shields -> Fingerprint Blocking - when set to strict does not save

Just as the Subject states, I am trying to reconfigure my privacy settings when using Brave on a Mac.
I am using (Big Sur v 11.2.1)
I have the following version of Brave installed
Version 1.19.92 Chromium: 88.0.4324.152 (Official Build) (x86_64)
When trying to set the “Fingerprinting blocking” setting from “standard” to “strict”, the setting does not save.

To recreate the bug, try making the change as described above, closing the browser, reopening and checking the setting. It always reverts back to “standard”.

Only affect Fingerprint protection setting? How about other Shields setting? Have you check if you enable clear “Site and Shields settings” on exit(1)?

Ah! Thank you! I checked the ‘on exit’ settings, and this could well be the reason why the Fingerprinting setting is not maintained. I didn’t think of that :flushed:
