Brave opens Tor Window

Description of the issue:
I had previously opened a Tor window from Brave. Now, whenever I open a new window from a link, I also get another instance of the Tor window

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. start Brave. it opens the previous window with all my tabs in intact. Tor window does not open.
  2. click on a link and select Open in New Window. The link opens in a window but a Tor window also in opened.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
2 windows are opened.

Expected result:
No Tor window should be opened.

Reproduces how often: Always.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Win10-64

Version 1.36.119 Chromium: 99.0.4844.83 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Is there any way you would be willing to share a short screen recording of this behavior? I’m unable to reproduce this on my end. Also, can the link be literally any link or is it links from a specific website?

Additionally, have you modified the Brave shortcut to include the --tor flag by chance?
