Hello everyone. It’s about website push notifications. Most of the requests for notifications blocked by default and we have no option to use them. The consent pop up are showed only on limited websites. And enabling them does not work either.

So on mobile (Android) it is a good idea that not filtering notification pop-ups/make them work (of course optional) would be great.

Especially the countries like mine where there are a lot of local newspapers it would be helpful. (I tested same websites on other browsers and yes the sites support push notifications which Brave blocks the request or something and make them unusable)

I found the issue. Well actually not an issue but further explanation. If the website implemented notifications of native notifications Brave acts normal. But majority of websites use platforms like OneSignal as notification provider which is blocked by Brave Shields due to tracking.

Go to settings brave://settings/content/notifications change the option to Expand all requests or you can add sites that you don’t want Brave to block.

This is not available on Android. Post is clearly about Android. On Android the option for notification (settings) is already on and yet the behaviur is as I mentioned.

Go to Setting > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects try enabling the option.
