No notifications in Android 11

Hi,

I am having issues getting notifications from the Brave browser in Android. I have granted all the necessary permissions. I have also tested the notifications on several sites. For example on the Brave Help Site

but also on other sites like this one:

However the strange thing is, that my experience is not consistent. For example I DO get notifications from the Kenherbert.dev site but I don’t get notifications from anywhere else.

Notifications in e.g. Firefox work fine.

I have tried restarting my phone, deleting Brave cache and manually enabling notifications in brave://flags without success.

I am using the most recent Play store version of Brave:1.33.106

I use an OnePlus 6 with Android 11 as OS.

Can anyone give me advice?
