Brave mobile (Android) does not verify when enough BAT in uphold

Description of the issue:
I have over 25 bat in uphold. I can log into uphold on the browser on phone. I turn shields off, I leave them on. I click verify, it always says I need 25 BAT or more to verify. It is fine on my desktop pc’s. I have them all in the sync chain.

It will never recognize on the phone. I tried the brave android and the beta.

I reset the brave rewards on the phone.

I uninstalled the beta and the normal Brave browser on phone.

Redownloaded from google play.

made sure the first website I went to was uphold.

Turned shields off.

After in, went to the “?” icon for brave rewards, got past the “got it” pop up. Went to verify…

No good.

Nothing works here to get it to verify. . . . . . .

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
install brave browser on phone.
go to uphold.
try to verify wallet

Keeps stating I need 25 BAT to do this

Expected result:
Should verify wallet just as it does on PC’s

Reproduces how often:
100% of the time it fails every time.

. . . . and I loaded uphold in desktop view just to see if that was any different. tried to verify. still says I need 25 BAT.

just FYI, the login to uphold is not the email I used when signing up for the Brave community post.

You need 25 bat in the android wallet to verify uphold account. Don’t know why they did it this way but that’s how it is…

As I stated, I do have over 25 bat.

wait… you said in the android wallet. Not the same wallet? So. . . I’d have 2 uphold accounts or how does that work?

Edit… I think I get it now. Just as each pc has a different amount of pending rewards, we just have to wait until a chunk of 25 bat is there from the phone til it can go to my uphold account(?)

. . . And yeah . . . that is utterly retarded if thats the case. Would love the product owner or solution architect or whomever made that call to explain their decision on that one.
