Brave keeps CPU constantly engaged around 30% even after closing all the tabs (in background mode)

Description of the issue:
Brave keeps cpu engaged (around 20% on my cpu type: intel i7 10875H) which is a lot. This the case specially when I close all the tabs. So it consumes this much even in background mode. This happned after the latest update.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Or keep it opened as a background service and close all the tabs

Expected result:
Brave should stay calm at around 1 to 5 percent.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.31.88 Chromium: 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Update: Last night before I go to sleep I closed all the tabs and exited the background mode and process. Today I started it and its working fine! I did not change anything on my side.

Update 2: Its back again. Looks like there is something happening that brings the browser in this state of constantly keeping cpu engaged!
