Brave freezes my laptop when i close the window

Hello, I have a problem with the brave browser.
I recently installed it and started using it, but when I go to close the browser, it automatically freezes my laptop and I can’t do anything, the mouse doesn’t work, I can’t open the task manager;
The only option is forcing rebooting system with the power button.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave browser and navigate
  2. Click on X to close browser and immediately freezes the laptop
  3. Force reboot system

1.31.91 was just released, does the problem occur there as well?

What version of Windows are you on?

If you create a new profile, and make sure your original profile is closed, does the issue still occur?
