Browser freezes/crash

Description of the issue:
Sometimes, when opening a new tab, braves freezes completely.
Largest issue is that is sometimes happens and sometimes not, it’s completely unclear when this happens.

Installed extensions:
pinterest
Cookieautodelete
1password

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Hard to reproduce. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it freezes up
    2.Steps (do not always lead to the problem):
    Open new tab
    Enter URL box
    Freeze.
    Close browser
    Open browser
    Freeze still there

I turned off that brave reopens the old tabs and then the freeze does not occur after re-opening the browser. That’s a temporary solution since the problem can (and will) occur again.

Brave does not freeze

Running on windows 11

Some searches show this is a recurring issue over the years.

Well, so far my trial of brave. Has full freezes at given moments and cannot be used anymore till computer restart of kill remaining threads in taskmanager.
No replies (as expected) so back to firefox.

If you’re still here, first thing I’d like you to do is update to he latest build of the browser (v1.71.118) and confirm whether or not the issue persists. If it does, can you please go to Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile to launch a Guest Profile window. THen, close your original profile window (so that only the guest window is open), then tell me if the browser still crashes when you go to the address bar?
