Brave displaying built-in notifications, instead of Windows 10 notifications

Description of the issue:
Whenever I receive notifications, the notification appears as one of Brave’s special push notifications, instead of a Windows notification. Normally I’d be okay with this, but these notifications stay open indefinitely, and it becomes a hassle when trying to do things without distraction.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Recieve any notification
  3. It does not appear as a Windows push, and does not close automatically.

Expected result:
I’m using Windows 10 and have been for years, and I’ve been told that Brave’s push notifs should only appear on Windows 8 and earlier. I just want it to use Windows notification system
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.61.114 Chromium: 120.0.6099.199 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Are you referring to website notifications or are you referring to Brave ad notifications? Additionally, can you share a screenshot of the way notifications appear on your end just so we can make sure we’re on the same page about what you’re seeing?
