I have the latest stable version od Brave Desktop for Windows and first I created Website shortcuts on the sidebar all was fine. But now, the colors of the shortcuts are inverted. If I enter these pages the icons become normal again. I think it happens after clearing the Browser History but I’m not sure.

In the meantime, try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue. You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

Hi @Kevin_cc , unfortunately I forgot this info.
- It happens every time I clear my browsing history and restart Brave.
- I am using Windows 10 Pro and Brave
Version 1.46.140 Chromium: 108.0.5359.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I tried your tip, but nothing changed. The logos are still inverted.

@whitetiger55 could you please try opening your main profile in private or guest mode to see if the colors show properly? If they do, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.
You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu --> Open Guest window:
- On your computer, open Brave.
- At the top right, click
Menu → More tools → Extensions. - On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
- Confirm by clicking Remove.

In private mode is the colors are also inverted and in guest mode the sidebar is on default (has no personal shortcuts)

@whitetiger55 Please try installing the Beta or Nightly version of Brave to see if the issue persists on those versions.
If the colors show properly on those versions, it may be an issue related to this Brave version.

@whitetiger55 do you have any themes set on the Brave Browser? If that’s the case try disabling them or setting Brave to light mode to see if this solves the issue brave://settings/appearance > Brave colors > Light

I had the darkmode on. The light mode has unfortunately brought nothing. Thanks for your help anyway.

@whitetiger55 please go to brave://flags/ and search for Vulkan to see if you have it set it to default. If you do, try both enabling it and disabling it.

Does re adding the bookmarks displayed on the sidebar solve the issue? To do it hove over the side bar > right click over an icon > remove. Once removed, add it back to see if it shows the right colors.

It helps but the next time I clear my browsing data it’s inverted again. The same when I open one of the bookmarks.

@whitetiger55 could you please create a new profile on your Browser by going to hamburger menu > create a new profile and set a new sidebar shortcuts to see if the colors still get inverted.

The colors are still inverted. What I had forgotten is that the icons also become blurred.
