This is still happening: Brave sometimes crashes on opening links externally
I can’t reply to the original because it’s closed (not because it was fixed, it just got old), so there is no way to request an update to this except to create a new topic.
This has been happening for years (across multiple versions of Brave and Ubuntu), and it’s having a seriously negative effect on productivity, compounded by the fact that it sometimes ‘forgets’ all your tabs when you reopen it (separate issue).
I have enabled crash reporting as recommended in the previous post, so hopefully will have some useful data soon.
