Description of the issue:
The Brave Browser crashes when I navigate to the Brave downloads page with a very large download history.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Expected result:
Be able to visit the downloads page without crashing.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.50.121 Chromium: 112.0.5615.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@Biglulu thanks for the information. If you could, a key part of information that would be needed to try to look deeper into your issue would be your crash log ID.
To get that, go to brave://crashes and you should be able to see a list of all your recent crashes. Hopefully they have already uploaded. If not, it should have an Upload or Send button, make sure to hit those if they exist. Once they’ve been submitted (you may have to close your browser for it to finish), then provide the Crash Report ID for the recent crash(es)

@Biglulu Awesome. I know Support will try to look into it when they get back. Bad news of things is that they don’t tend to have anyone working on the weekends. With it currently being Friday night, this means the likelihood of any official answers might not be until after Monday.
I am going to ask though out of curiosity, any particular reason you’re not clearing your download history? I know things downloaded will remain, so not sure of a reason to maintain it. Hoping you might be able to enlighten me. If it is indeed just the size of the download history, seems like it could be an “easy fix” but know that not everyone wants to make changes like that.
It’s not a big deal, it’s just all the history since I installed Brave years ago and I never thought to clear it. I did clear it now though and the browser is much more responsive when downloading files now. Before it was always a little stuttery whenever I downloaded anything.
