Brave crashing a lot 03/30/2022

Description of the issue:
By using the browser, no matter which website I visit, it will freeze after a few moments at the point I have to restart, and then it keeps happening. It freezes the laptop as well.

Expected result:
Brave working with no issues.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave is up to date, Version 1.37.109 Chromium: 100.0.4896.60 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Additional Information:
Before this issue, I only updated Brave. I didn’t do anything out of ordinary.

Hi @jlu2205, Thanks for reporting. A few direct follow up questions:

  • Can you tell me more about what you have enabled in the browser: Rewards, Sync, Wallet? - Any new extensions?
  • Did you enable any flags via brave://flags by any chance?
  • Can you check to see if there are any crashes reported using the following:

C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Crashpad
