Opening the Download tab crashes Brave

When clicking “show all downloads” on the download drop menu or when pressing Control+J, Brave freezes and eventually crashes

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Click the “recent downloads” menu
  2. Click “Show all Downloads”
  3. Can also press the Control+J shortcut

Brave Version
Version 1.50.121 Chromium: 112.0.5615.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: This error occurs even with all extensions removed

I have the same problem. Downloads themselves work fine. But opening the show all downloads view hangs the browser.

My “downloads folder” has 87 gigs worth of stuff in it, dunno if that is a factor.

doubt it, I purge my downloads folder fairly often and this crash still happens.
