I was just browsing on brave and going through my tab groups and filtering out unneeded tabs when brave suddenly crashed and once it relaunched all my tabs, bookmarks tab groups, saved passwords and everything were gone
All browsing history is gone and i can’t find an option to open a new window so that’s not the problem either?
Is there anywhere to get all of it back or is it just gone for good now?

I got the update but everything is still missing,
When i visited the crash logs there were quite a few dated on the day of the incident (11th of may) but none of them had a crash id or any additional info on them except a little “send now” button which when pressed made the crashes disappear and now the oldest one is dated at the 12th of may.
The only info available on it is the size: 269.92kbs
And the local crash context which is: f1b5d39a6148
Edit after visiting the page again it keeps showing crash reports that didn’t happen?
Most of them being like 30 seconds to 1 minute old (i was using the app at the time and it did not crash on me)

Okay after more observation it appears that the crashes pages just keeps filling up with more and more crash reports and all of them are dated today (13th of may) some even at times when i wasn’t even on my phone to begin with

@Guy35 thanks for the added info. Just to clarify, the crashing is continuing even now that you’re on version 1.78.99?
Yes im on 1.78.99 but the app isn’t really crashing there were just crash logs saying that it was.
The crash logs have actually stopped showing up the with the most recent one being over 12 hours long (previously there was a crash log for every other hour)
However all my bookmarks, browsing history, saved passwords and open tabs are still all gone
Is there any possible way of restoring them!??

Unfortunately i dont, i only have 1 device which is my phone and that’s where i kept all my stuff
hope this gets figured out for you! i am running through the same problem and have tried every way online but nothing has worked so far
I really hope so too, its a bit wild that it can just delete your bookmarks and saved info, if I’d known that i would have kept a backup or something, especially since some of those bookmarks were several years old 
Actually, I suspect that sync may contribute to the problem. I’ve lost my history but retained, for now, my bookmarks. Those are the two items I’m syncing. I’m on Brave for Linux, Windows, and Android.
BTW, on my Linux desktop the History file is 18M in size while I can only go back to last night at 11:07p.
Well i dont really have sync on so i do doubt that its the issue, maybe its some internal fault with the browser
