Every time I lock my computer and go do something, I come back and Brave has crashed. It started as a minor annoyance due to the Restore Tabs feature from a crash, but after it happening for literally weeks now, it’s become a pain in my a**.
The only Windows power saving feature I use is “Turn off my monitor after xyz minutes”. Otherwise, my computer is on.
I just scrolled through all my crash reports (50 of them), and they all reference this version. Seems to be something to do with this version of Brave (1.69.162).
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Long-time brave user since release, would like this solved.
I’m not sure if this is relevant, but the crashes seem to happen when I “resume” using the computer. My computer is always “Locked” if I’m not using it via windows, and the monitors are set to turn off after 5 minutes of no input. So this crash happened after moving my mouse (to get my monitors to turn on) and then logging in with my Windows Hello camera. Then when I clicked on Brave, it went unresponsive.
