Brave Browser closes when I try to Play videos

Description of the issue:
100 percent of the time that I try to play a video the Browser closes. (EX. Youtube videos)

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Open Browser
  2. Open Youtube
  3. Click on video to play
  4. Browser Closes Instantly

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Cant do a screen shot because browser instantly closes as soon as I hit play on the video

Expected result:

Play youtube videos without the browser closing on its own.

Reproduces how often:

100 Percent of the time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

PC Windows 10 Brave Verion 1.52.126 (64-bit)

Additional Information:

The browser works on my other PC, my Tablet, and my Phone
all the browser settings on my other PC are identical.

  1. I have tried disabling hardware acceleration, I am using Windows 10 and it is up to date. All un needed tasks are closed in system tray and the Browser still crashes. What happens is I can log into Youtube but as soon as I attempt to play a video the entire browser shuts down and closes out.
  2. YES it does crash in private mode, also used a clean brave profile.
  3. I reloaded it twice, reset settings, cleared cache, checked memory.
    My other PC is older and plays video with no problem

Any Update on this issue?

Can you go to brave://crashes and see if there are any crash reports? If so, make sure they are submitted. If you see a Send button you’ll need to click on it and then exit Brave and then open Brave again after like 30 seconds, give or take.

What we’ll need you to copy/paste over here is the Uploaded Crash Report ID. We don’t need the Crash Context, only Uploaded Crash Report ID.

Saying this happens in clean profile as well?
