Brave browser cannot follow the electromagnetic roller configuration of Logi MX Master 3S

Description of the issue:
On the Windows platform, for the Logi MX Master 3S mouse and Logi Options+ software, Brave always maintains a response to the lateral electromagnetic wheel regardless of how the configuration file is modified, that is, the wheel scrolls up (to the right) to return to the previous tab, and scrolls down (to the left) to enter the next tab.

Regardless of how the configuration is modified in Logi Options+, Brave refuses to follow the configuration results and always adheres to the above response method.

This has never occurred in previous browser versions, so it was first reported to Brave.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use the MX Master 3S mouse and Logi Options+ software. The operating mode of the electromagnetic wheel is “tab navigation”.
  2. Use the mouse wheel to observe Brave’s response mode. Scrolling up (to the right) will return to the previous tab, while scrolling down (to the left) will take you to the next tab.
  3. Create a special configuration for Brave in the Logi Options+ software, selecting “Reverse Direction” for the operation of the electromagnetic roller.
  4. Return to the Brave browser, slide the electromagnetic wheel, and the operation mode does not change
  5. In the Logi Options+ software, change Brave’s electromagnetic wheel to “keyboard shortcut”, where scrolling up (right) is Ctrl+PgDn (to the next tab), and scrolling down (left) is Ctrl+PgUp (to the previous tab).
  6. Return to the Brave browser, slide the electromagnetic wheel, and the operation mode remains unchanged

Expected result:
Brave should follow the configuration of the mouse software, rather than always maintaining a response.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.64.113 Chromium: 123.0.6312.86

Additional Information:
Logi Options+ 1.68.542186
Windows 11 Pro 22H2
Has been tested in incognito mode with the same results and should rule out browser plugins.
