Bookmarks sidebar downgrade

Adding thumbs down.
Im moving away from Brave to Firefox until this downgraded bookmark issue is resolved.

This is a major downgrade in in usability in my opinion. It makes the whole annoying to use. Up until this change, I was mostly happy with Brave. Back to FireFox for now.

My main problem with the bookmarks is the placement of the New folder link. I accidentally click it too often. Iā€™d prefer if it was tucked away (even annoyingly far away) so I donā€™t have to be constantly deleting these New folders

Maybe move the Visual/compact view option to Settings > Appearance then add the plus icon for New folder in its place

Or maybe remove Add current tab button and put Add new folder there. Not sure what the point of Add current tab isā€“maybe for ppl w/o address bar showing? I always add bookmark from icon next to address bar

The degree to which this bookmarks issue has thrown me off is matched only by my astonishment about who thought this change was a good idea in the first place. I liked Brave. I was almost completely convinced to migrateā€¦ Then this. Back to FireFox for me.
