Bookmarks not Syncing properly

Description of the issue:
Bookmark syncing doesn’t work, bookmarks are duplicated, moved around, deleted bookmarks come back.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Add Sync across multiple devices
  2. Change bookmarks on one device, and they all start acting weird.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Not interested in revealing my bookmarks.

Expected result:
When I delete a bookmark, it should sync with other devices, when I re-arrange bookmarks and folders, it should sync properly.

Reproduces how often:

All the time for a few months now

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

macOS, IOS, Windows 10
[Version 1.3.114 Chromium: 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)]

Additional Information:

This is an ongoing issue for months that is going beyond annoyance, I am close to switch back to Chrome because this. This should be a top priority right now, numerous users have reported and are having this issue.

Yep, I just updated Brave and now I have bookmarks from like 2 months ago, this is ridiculous. I’m done, going back to Chrome. I guess I’ll check back some time and see if this is ever fixed. It’s mind boggling Brave has allowed this to be such an issue for so long.
