Synching bookmarks doesn`t work

Description of the issue:

  1. I install Brave on my PC desktop and on my Laptop-Notepad and import bookmarks from Chrome on both,
  2. I made a active Synch Chain between two computers, and synch button for bookmarks turned On.
  3. After a while I notice that bookmarks saved on one or another computer were not synchronized on the other one.

Expected result:
To solve this issue.

Operating System and Brave Version:
Windows 10 Home Version 1803, Brave Version 0.70.121 Chromium: 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)

A bunch of fixes to Sync are on the way – we’re well aware of these issues! Apologies for the trouble.

Good to hear, still pending I presume? I’m having issues with bookmark duplication, which sort of makes sense b/c I first imported from Chrome, then sync’d with another Brave machine that had many of the same ones. But I find that after setting things straight sometimes it get’s duplicated or changed again. Thanks!


I’m assuming the issue is still WIP? I’m having similar issues between desktop, laptop and phone. They have partly synced. But it’s taken several days and it’s still not fully synced. It seems to be doing something in the background in stages.
