What Search Engine do you use? That icon usually depicts the Search Engine that you have enabled…

Hi, and thanks for your response. I use Duck Duck Go.

Hey ChanTera,

I think clearing your cache/history should fix this.

Ok Adrian, thanks I’ll try that.

I figured out how to use Brave as my search engine. Guess it’s time to say goodbye to Duck Duck Go.

Good, Brave Search is also good… :slight_smile:

@ChanTera,
To confirm, clearing your cache/data did get rid of the weird icon in the address bar?

Hi Matt he’s, I didn’t want to get rid of my search history, and I don’t know how to clear Duck Duck Go’s cache. Wish I did, so instead I switched to Brave’s search engine.

Oops, sorry, it autocorrected your name when it sent…

To clear your cache, you have to go to SettingsBrave shields & privacy, and you’ll see Clear browsing data on that screen. Then you can select what you want to clear from there.

Thanks Adrian! Now that I am using Brave for my search engine, it doesn’t show up. I just deleted the Duck Duck Go search engine and it fixed the problem.
