Mediamarkt logo in search bar

When I start typing something in the search bar, the MediaMarkt logo is visible. It disappears when I hit enter, or if autocorrect fills in the field.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Start Brave
2. Type something in the search bar
   3.-

Expected result:
The MediaMarkt logo appears to the left.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.15.76

Pixel 3a, Android 10

clear browser cache and disable all extension

Clearing cache doesn’t help.

I didn’t even know there were extensions to the mobile version. How do I disable them?

Hi, I’m having the same issue and have reported here -

A+ icon appearing in URL bar when typing

First off, I’ll point out this is the same issue reported here (Brave URL bar shows Rite Aid logo) and the solution posted there (clearing history + cache) has also worked for me. But that issue has already been marked as closed and I wanted to highlight to the developers that it is a bug and not an isolated issue. Only noticed it since the last update. In my case, the icon displayed was an A+ from some site I didn’t recognise. The icon only appeared when typing in the URL bar, and didn’t appea…

It has also been reported here, and I found the solution posted there (clearing history from all time), fixed it in the short term - Brave URL bar shows Rite Aid logo

But it’s reappeared for me a few times since, and obviously don’t want to keep clearing my history every few days. Hopefully we can get a permanent fix soon!
