My Brave wallet bitcoin deposit address has changed. Why, and is my old address still valid?

Here is the history:

On January 22, 2025, I deposited .001 bitcoin to my Brave wallet. Deposit address was
bc1qw6vzhtf0vwkn59klnfanaf5eh8hym3ph40e83e .
On February 20, I noticed that my Bitcoin address changed to
bc1qd9dvuq7vfs0r565y75rd0vvf0v4gzsjdu4p0v5 .
I did a wallet restore during this time. Would that explain why my address changed? I do mining, and can not always check to make sure that my address does not change.

To clarify, did you reset the wallet or restore from an existing recovery phrase?

I did a restore from an existing recovery phrase.

I just looked at my wallet, and the deposit address changed again. Now it is
bc1qy0k0s6yt3zpd87snvyjvtzlug7j2t5pyrmps0s

This time I did not do any wallet restores.

BTC address rotation is intended for privacy reasons. So, BTC funds are spread between addresses until they are potentially spent together.
