I’m not sure if this is as much a bug than a useless feature. But I’ve been finding the address bar autocomplete almost useless to the point where I’ve disabled it from using my history.This is because its trying to autocomplete full website domains with the full path and query parameters included. Here is an example, if I start typing “youtu” it autocompletes something like “https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=blah+blah+blah+” likewise, if I go to a site that say has documents it’ll try taking me to a specific document instead of the home page or something that. Even typing “gmail” doesn’t seem to bring up what I would expect and that’s “mail.google.com” I have to use the arrow keys to select the correct item from history.
I’d encourage you to disable autocomplete anyway, it might be convenient but it can be a privacy risk, for more on this I suggest running the test at the below website and then see what it says in step 2. Autofill Leak Test
