All tabs/sites constantly give the "Aw, Snap!" error, including internal pages like brave://settings

EDIT: I appear to have found a fix. See replies.

Description of the issue: Following a hard shutdown after a different program caused my computer to freeze, all tabs/pages in Brave repeatedly give the “Aw, Snap!” error message. This extends to “internal” pages such as brave://settings & brave://history.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Perform a hard shutdown with Brave open.
  2. After the computer starts again, open Brave and restore tabs.

Expected result: Brave should function as expected after tabs are restored.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Unable to check due to issue

Additional Information: Reproduction attempts do not guarantee the same result, as it took many times for me to even get the error. A re-installation was done and gave no different results.

I believe I have managed to fix the issues. It seems performing a second hard shutdown has reverted them. For future reference, version was 1.0.1. Hopefully this can help anyone else who might run into this.
