All downloads renamed to "download"

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Any file downloaded is renamed “download” with no file extension, really bites.
  2. Download an attachment.

Expected result:
Actual file to be downloaded as named in attachment.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.42.88 Chromium: 104.0.5112.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)

What distro are you on?

I don’t really have any ideas at this point, but I will say all of the bizarre Linux ‘download dialogue issues’ I recall seeing on this forum have stemmed from various window manager issues.

If you want to bump up to 1.42.97 and see if the issue still occurs, then let us know what distro and we’ll see if we can figure something out.
